Philanthropy
Athenna Crosby is a disability advocate and development professional at Best Buddies International, where she works to advance inclusion and opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through fundraising, awareness, and community engagement. Inspired by her brother Adrian, who has autism, Athenna began her advocacy journey at age 12 and has dedicated more than 15 years to disability inclusion.
Her advocacy work has included volunteering with the Morgan Autism Center, founding a Best Buddies college chapter, leading Friendship Walk teams, and raising funds for inclusion initiatives. She has also served as a Global Youth Ambassador for Protect Our Planet (POP), an ambassador for ReSurge International and PATH Partners, and a volunteer with Baby2Baby, supporting efforts in environmental protection, humanitarian aid, and community support. Her work has earned her recognition as a Bay Area Champion of the Year nominee and recipient of the Beauty With a Purpose Ambassadorship from the Miss World America Organization.
