In December 2024, just weeks after winning Miss World America, I had the incredible opportunity to take my very first international trip all the way to the Middle East. Thanks to an invitation from my friend Kianna, founder of Content Society, I packed my bags and headed to the dazzling city of Dubai.
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
From the moment I arrived, Dubai felt like a vibrant blend of modern luxury and deep cultural heritage. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. To enter, I wore a beautiful gold, long-sleeved caftan paired with a hijab, a traditional mosque outfit that made me feel both respectful and deeply connected to the experience. Standing in the mosque’s vast courtyard, surrounded by gleaming white marble and intricate designs, I knew I was in one of the most breathtaking places I’d ever seen.
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
My trip also included some unexpected thrills, like attending the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix race on Yas Island. The energy of the racing world was electric, and being right there in the middle of it all was something I’ll never forget. I’m not your typical racing fan, but my experience as a Monster Energy Girl prepared me for the heart-pounding atmosphere of Formula One.
International Conference
Another memorable moment was being a special guest at the Content Creator Legends & AI Conference, an international gathering of top content creators from across different platforms. The event focused on how creators are using artificial intelligence tools to streamline their work, enhance creativity, and share content with the world more effectively. As someone who works in media and storytelling, it was inspiring to hear how technology is shaping the future of creative industries. I even picked up a few new editing tricks!
Of course, no trip to Dubai would be complete without seeing the city from the water. I took a sightseeing boat tour around the Palm Jumeirah and the surrounding beach areas, taking in the skyline, the luxury resorts, and the stunning blue waters.
Stepping into my role as Miss World America on an international scale reminded me how travel can open our hearts and minds to new cultures, ideas, and possibilities. Dubai was the perfect start to this journey, and I know it’s just the beginning of many more adventures ahead.
