Athenna Crosby is a dedicated advocate for disability rights, inspired by her brother Adrian’s Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis. Beginning her activism at age 12, she has volunteered with the Morgan Autism Center, founded a Best Buddies college chapter, led teams for Friendship Walks in San Francisco and Los Angeles, raised significant funds for inclusion initiatives, and successfully lobbied for April to be declared Autism Awareness Month in San Jose. Her efforts earned her the Bay Area’s 2023 Champion of the Year nomination and the prestigious Beauty With A Purpose Ambassadorship from the Miss World America Organization.
Beyond disability advocacy, Athenna serves as a Global Youth Ambassador for Protect Our Planet (POP), an ambassador for ReSurge International and PATH Partners, and a volunteer for Baby2Baby, working to advance environmental protection, humanitarian aid, and support for underserved communities.
